Cybersecurity Office Excel
The primary means by which System Assets are typically imported into Cybersecurity Office is in bulk via an Excel spreadsheet.
In most cases, an existing System Asset Registry exists in the organisation. This may be in the form of an online system, such as in ServiceNow, or just in an MS Office document of one type or another. In almost all cases, this information can be exported or copied to an Excel spreadsheet.
Once in Excel, the data can be copied into the format required to be imported into the service.
- If the Options section is not open, click on it to expand the available Options.
- Click on 'Option 2: Cybersecurity Office Excel'
System Asset Excel Import Option
- If you don't already have an excel file in the right format, click the 'here' link to generate one from the current state of your Security Profile
- Update the details on the Systems worksheet in Excel and save the changes
When your Security Profile is already populated, all data in the Excel file will be ingested and any matching entities updated.
To constrain which data is imported, just keep the worksheets with the data required. For example, if you only want to import System Assets data, delete all worksheets except for the Systems worksheet before uploading. - Click on the 'Import Asset Registry' button, click the 'Choose File' button on the dialog and then click the 'Import' button

- When it is complete, the System Assets table should be updated to reflect the content of the spreadsheet.
